experiencing the experience

we are here and have been given this unlimited tool, our bodies. ruled by the unlimited power that is our thinking mind, full of unlimited love for all things, with unlimited room to explore. as i continue to find who i now am as a mother i realize i am not limited in who i have to be… i’ve just never gone through this experience before. no longer looking out, i look in and remember the unlimited possibility of making this experience mine. as i watch my son grow and meet his body, meet his surroundings and expand i am reminded more and more that we are given these incredible bodies with incredible senses to see it all, touch it all, taste it all, be it all.

 

 

 

 

 

you don’t know until you know

we have been given this life to experience it, we are in this realm now and only now.

let’s not waste it for our after life.

 

 

 

 

we can never truly know what it is like to be anyone else or know what anyone has really gone through. each one of our experiences make up, create, and affect our present moment. each experience is ours and only ours for the taking.

we, myself and her

my deepest apologies for being mia these last few months. i had to hibernate and go within to put all of my energy and effort to giving birth to my son. his birth created a lot of turmoil inside of me. it was magical indeed, the coolest thing i ever have and ever will do, but my trust in my body and the universe to do what it needed to do didn’t go as planned and i found myself broken because of it.

i was somewhat swallowed up by the medical system and spit out feeling less than ever before. never being one to fit inside of a box becoming a mother has had it challenges mainly because i’m now feeling forced or pressured to fit into the “mom” category, one that to me feels so mediocre. like most things that women go through it’s just looked at as a thing that happens rather than given the true power that it deserves. here i am now knowing that i am a fucking goddess of creation and my son is a creation of light and power. that all the things i thought going into this adventure are true and no system will ever take that power away from me again.

we must give ourselves to the power of the self and our mother earth,  for everything it can do and does. if we treated ourselves and our universe with the energy and love it deserves i promise you this earth will be a place worth passing down to our children.

now being on the other end and somehow finding myself, spirituality and trust in all things magical, i am now out on the other end of things and ready to share my inspirations with you once again…

the Peacemaker taught us about the seven generations. he said, when you sit in council for the welfare of the people, you must not think of yourself or of your family, not even of your generation. he said, make your decisions on behalf of the seven generations coming, so that they may enjoy what you have today.

you start to think in terms of the people who come after me. those faces that are coming from beneath the earth that are yet unborn, is the way we refer to that. they are going to need the same things that we have found here, they would like the earth to be as it is now, or a little better.

well let me tell you trees are amazing, we literally breathe the air they are creating, they clean up our pollution our carbon, they store and purify water… they give us medicine that cures our diseases and food that feeds us.

 … why are we continuing to cut down something that’s so precious and essential for our existence?

plant some trees and save us!

 

We are made from Mother Earth and we go back to Mother Earth.

to live by this principle, one would ask, prior to any undertaking, how it will affect the land, water, air, animals, birds, plants and the future for our children seven generations into the future?

how does it apply to you?

think about where you build a house, what kind of car you drive.

do you throw out or recycle?

what kind of impact are you making on the earth?

what kind of message are you giving your children? Teach them by example.

plants are our brothers and sisters. they talk to us and if we listen, we can hear them.

you are not here forever but your choices are.

When it was over, all I could think about was how this entire notion of oneself, what we are, is just this logical structure, a place to momentarily house all the abstractions. It was a time to become conscious, to give form and coherence to the mystery, and I had been a part of that. It was a gift. Life was raging all around me and every moment was magical. I loved all the people, dealing with all the contradictory impulses – that’s what I loved the most, connecting with the people. Looking back, that’s all that really mattered.
